ABOUT US
I'm Josh from JS Brothers. I started riding skis in the early 2000s and I got my first ski in 2004 which was a 1996 Seadoo GSX. I ride mainly in the Puget Sound in the Pacific Northwest. I really enjoy riding out there because there’s lots of space, plenty of places to go and it's not overly crowded. My brothers Jacob and Jason got into skis in about 2016 and we just kept buying more and more skis. We enjoyed doing engine swaps in the skis so we decided to make a YouTube channel and I guess the rest is history. Cool thing is that my son gets to be around this stuff constantly and is now more into jet skis than anyone else I know.
One thing about what we do is that we’re working with a lot of the older stuff. We like the newer stuff but we don’t necessarily have the funds to go out and play with the latest and greatest. Also when we build stuff we aren't trying to pretend like we’re doing it the best or necessarily the right way. None of us works on skis for a living, just building for fun for ourselves. Before starting my YouTube channel, I was an auto mechanic by trade so I do have professional knowledge of engines from my past life.
Hopefully what we do inspires people to get out there and build their own stuff and get more people interested in the sport.
